AFC Leopards goalkeeper Jairus Adira has been named the club’s Player of the Month for February after registering much improved performances, to see him beat Gabriel Andika to the number one slot.
The keeper was instrumental for the team in the month, saving Joseph Mbugi’s penalty on his debut in the game against Posta Rangers.
He was also crucial to AFC Leopards bagging their first win of the season, when the team beat Ulinzi Stars 2 – 1 in Thika and for his efforts have been well rewarded, by Kshs 10,000 raised by the club’s executive committee.
Adira was voted for by fellow players and technical bench members, bagging his second individual award after initially winning the Goalkeeper of the Year award at the 2014 KPL Awards gala.

“Congratulations to our goalkeeper Jairus Adirah who was voted AFC Leopards' February player of the month by AFC Leopards players and technical bench. He was rewarded 10,000/= this morning by the club's National Executive Committee,” Leopards posted on their official Facebook page.
