Bandari forward elated with resuming fitness after lenghty layoff
Bandari Masoud Juma has voiced his elation at regaining his fitness after an extended spells in the sidelines.
Juma, who has been nursing an ankle injury suffered back in May against SoNy Sugar, made a five minutes appearance against Tusker FC before getting another 20 minutes below his feet against Bondo United on Saturday 19 September. He went on to claim an assist in the match, winning the penalty that was converted by Victor Ndinya en route the Dockers' 3-0 win over Bondo United in the Shield Cup last 32.
The youngster opened up on the tough times he had to endure during his healing process and rehabilitation from the injury.
-it has been a tough spell being in the sidelined for that long. it happened at worst time when I had just got my call up to the U 23 team. I’m delighted to be back and hopefully will get going with the remaining four games, Masoud told futaa.
With two first leg goals against Muhoroni and KCB, under his name, the former Shabana man will be an added option to on the rise Twahir Muhiddin’s offensive unit.
