SoNy Sugar FC striker Masoud Juma is set to join newly promoted Kenyan premier League (KPL) side, Kariobangi Sharks, can report.

The former Bandari and Shabana striker has been training with Sharks and has even featured for the club in friendly matches.

SoNy Sugar head coach Salim Babu however says the club has not formally released the striker but is resolved to losing him to Sharks. Masoud was a target for Kenyan Premier League rivals, AFC Leopards but Ingwe cooled down its interest in the player and  he's now set to join the William Muluya coached Sharks head of 2017 season.

Sharks bound

- Masoud is not with us, to be honest  we do not know of his whereabouts because he has not reported back to training, to us he's still our player because we’ve not issued him with a release later. Both Leopards and Sharks wanted him but I hear he has been training with Sharks, in the event that he leaves I will have to work with the players I have here, Babu told

Masoud joined SoNy in June 2016 from Bandari.
