Newly promoted National Super League side Kibera Black Stars will clash with Kenyan Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks in a friendly match set to be played on Saturday 25 February at Utalii Grounds.

Black Stars under Head Coach Godfrey Solo Oduor, earned a promotion to NSL after an impressive season last year that saw it finish the league with one game to spare while Sharks finished 2016 season in second position thus earning an automatic top flight promotion.

In an earlier interview with Futaa, Solo had expressed his desire to play against Sharks and noted that his side will not have any friendly matches over the week as he wants to prepare his side for the Saturday's match.

-I really want to play with Sharks but they have not yet confirmed. We are not going to have any other friendlies this week since we have engaged in a series of friendlies before and I want to prepare my players before the Sharks game, he told Futaa.

The clash will kick off at 0800hrs.
