Women Premier League Zone A side Makolanders Head Coach Mike Okanga is optimistic his team will put up a positive performance when they face Soccer Sister on May 20.

Coach Okanga expressed that the spirit within the camp is positive especially after the impressive performance against Mathare on Sunday 14 May; the team managed to collect a point, the first of the season. He also noted that despite their opponents coming into the game having lost to Mombasa Olympic 1-2 on May 14, they will still pose a threat to his team.

-It will be a tricky game though my players see it as a simple game given that Soccer Sisters lost their last match against Mombasa. The morale in the camp is high and I am trying to make them see that even though the opponents lost they are still a major threat to us as a team. I myself am heading into the match with a positive mind, he said.

Makolanders will be hoping to leave the bottom of the WPL Zone A Log when they face 7th placed Soccer Sisters in the next League fixture.
