Nakumatt captain Peter Nzuki has set his eyes on winning the Shield Tournament this season after downing Modern Coast Rangers in the round of 32 on Saturday 8 July in Machakos

Nakumatt progressed to the round of 16 beating Rangers in post match penalties after the match ended in a barren draw in regulation time.

Speaking after the match, Nzuki admitted that his side anticipated a tough game against Rangers and also revealed that his team's main target is to win the tournament.

Tough match

-We knew it would be tough because Modern Coast is a good team, we played them in the NSL last year and they play very good football as was witnessed today. The game lived to its billing and I am happy we progressed, our aim is to win this tournament because we reached the final in 2015, he told

Nakumatt will face the winner of the clash between Gor Mahia and Bandari that will be staged at the Thika Sub County Stadium on Sunday 8 July.
