Kenyan utility joins Spanish side

Kenyan and Harambee Stars Central Midfielder Ismael Said Gonzales has joined Spanish side C.F. Fuenlabrada from FC Granada.

The third tier side which is based in Madrid announced on Wednesday 12 July that it had reached an agreement with the midfielder who can also play as a defender and he has signed a one year deal.

Option of extension

- Ismael signs for CF Fuenlabrada. The center comes from the Granada B and signs for one season with option to another, a statement on the official club portal read.

Gonzalez joins Jordi Codina, Hugo Fraile, Matheus Cession, Casa Miller who have also signed for the side. The Manchester City trialist made his Harambee Stars debut in May 2016 against Sudan in a friendly match.

He also featured for 50 minutes in the Africa Cup of Nations tie against Congo Brazzaville where Kenya won 2-1 at Moi Kasarani. The Las Palmas player has however missed all the 2017 action.
