Mariehamn FC home to Kenya duo of Amos Ekhalie and Anthony Dafaa got knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers after losing by a heavy 6-0 scoreline to Legia Warsaw on Wednesday 19 July.

Dafaa missed the clash that was staged in Poland following a red card he picked in the first leg. Ekhalie on the other hand clocked 90 minutes as the Polish side ran a riot over them.

Opener in six

Just after six minutes of play the Finland Champions conceded the opening goal. It was Brazillian Guerhilleme Costa who opened the flood gates of goals. The second goal came at the 37th minute after Kristyian Kojolo pushed the ball in his own net.

Three minutes later, Michal Kucharcyzk gave the home side the third goal before scoring another goal at the 54th minute from a penalty spot. Striker Sebastian Szymanski netted the fifth goal at the 80th minute while Konrad Michalak scored the final goal of the clash a minute later for 6-0 win.

Having lost 3-0 in the first leg, Ekhalie's side has exited the competition after a 9-0 aggregate loss. Their focus will shifts to defending the league title that they won last year.
