Belgian side signs Harambee Stars midfielder

Belgian second Division side Cercle Brugge has confirmed the capture of Harambee Stars midfielder Johanna Omolo from Top Tier side Royal Antwerp.

Omollo who helped Royal Antwerp earn promotion to the top tier has signed a two year deal with Bruggle and will link up with the side later on Tuesday 25 July.  Bruggle are believed to have paid Kshs 30,369,645 to acquire the central midfielder.

-Johanna Omolo has signed a contract for the next two seasons at Cercle Brugge. The defensive midfielder will definitely be transferred from Antwerp FC and will join Cercle today, the club announced.

The club's Sports Director Fran├žois Vitali has expressed delight after signing the midfielder and believes that the Kenyan International will play a major role in their campaign since he has gained experience in past clubs he has played for.

Omollo's contract at Antwerp in 2019. It is however unclear why the team opted to sell Omollo  who was their best player last season.
