Former KPL top scorers out to extend fine run in midweek action

Jesse Were and John Mark Makwata headline the five Kenyan internationals looking to extend their individual fine run as their respective sides resume league ties this Wednesday 2 August in Zambia.

Were, the scorer of Zesco's match winner in last league outing against Konkola Blades, will be eyeing similar feat when they hit the road for a rescheduled Week 9 clash this time at Lumwana Radiants.

The ex Tusker man will definitely fancy his chances heading to the tie on back of three goals in as many games.

Miheso,Makwata vs Buffaloes

Elsewhere, John Makwata and Cliffton Miheso's Buildcon FC will be back on the pitch for a rescheduled week 16 tie at Green Buffaloes starting 1500 hours.

Makwata, who opened his scoring account with a brace over the weekend,  is expected to lead Kopala team line.
