NSL: Bankers wary of limping GFE
KCB head coach Leonard Saleh says his side cannot afford to underrate struggling GFE 105 when the two sides face off in a National Super League match on Saturday 5 August at the Camp Toyoyo Grounds.
GFE is on a three-match losing streak ahead of its match against promotion chasing Bankers. Ahead of the game, Saleh says the fact the Joshua Obare’s charges are on a bad run makes them a dangerous side to face.
-GFE is a very good team, they have managed to beat a number of big sides in the league and as such we cannot afford to underrate them. They have lost their last three matches but that does not make them a bad team, they also have a good away record and I know they will come here in search of three points and as such we have to be at our best. We have prepared well for the game and I am confident the boys will do well, our goal is to return to KPL and it’s important that we get three points from each game, he told Futaa.com.
KCB lies fifth in the National Super League log with 36 points while GFE is 9th, ten points adrift of the Bankers.
