Former Kenya international John Baraza has warned that no team in the Kenya Premier League is sure of winning the title due to stiff competition.

Baraza who led Sofapaka to a 3-0 win over Thika at Afraha stadium in absence of head coach Sam Ssimbwa said the league is still open and some teams may stumble upon the road.

- The league is still open and no team is sure of clinching the title now. Not even Gor Mahia is sure. Some teams are fighting against possibilities of relegation some are fighting for mid table positions. And probably others are going for the title, Baraza said.

Sofapaka, the 2014 Shield winners last won the league in 2009 and have been billed among this seasons favourites after a their mid-season recruitment spree.
