Kakamega Homeboyz discloses end of season targets

Kakamega Homeboyz is seeking to improve on last season performance and finish among the top five teams in the league, head coach Mike Mururi has revealed.

The side registered the best ever top flight performance last season by finishing eighth on the league standings. It was after spending two season in the second tier after the 2013 relegation.


The coach is working to ensure an improvement in the team’s performance so as to achieve the targets he has set. He has urged the team’s fans to continue supporting the team as they continue with their bid.

-Last season we finished at position eight and as a coach my target is to try and make it to the top five at the end of this season. To the fans, I just urge them to stick by the team and support us as they have done in the past matches, he said.

The team is currently ninth on the league standings.
