Playtime for Kenya's duo as Mariehamn struggles continue
Kenya midfielders Anthony Clement Dafaa and Amos Ekhalie were in action as Mariehamn suffered a 3-0 defeat to RoPS in a league match played at Rovaniemen on Thursday.
Dafaa was handed a start in the match by head coach Peter Lundberg and he went on to play 38 minutes while Ekhalie started on the bench.
The side conceded the first goal at the 11th minute. Charlie Trafford netted the opening goal for RopS before Simo Roia scored the second goal in the second half.
The final goal for RoPS came at the 79th minute, three minute after Ekhalie was introduced to help chase the game.
Mariehamn has had tough times ever since suffering a 6-0 loss to Legia Warzaw in the champions league.
They are winless in the last five matches and they have conceded 16 goals in the last five and scored just three goals. The poor run has seen them drop to position eight on the league standings.
