Chan 2018: Mucureezi benched as Basena names starting team for Rwanda affair

Uganda Cranes interim Coach Moses Basena has released the starting tram to face Rwanda later in the afternoon at the St. Mary's stadium in Kitende. 

 The two nations are competing for a slot to the 2018 Africa Nations Championship qualifiers in Kenya. 

Like expected, Isma Watenga continues in goal after a fine show against South Sudan in the second round. 

Captain Nicholas Wadada will man the right wing, Muleme the left as Savio Kabugo and Muwanga shield Watenga. 

Derrick Nsibambi and Militon Karisa have been tasked to search for goals. 

Four  goal hero, Paul Mucureezi has been named in the substitute bench. The youngster came on as a substitute to score four in South Sudan rout.

Lineup: Isma Watenga(GK), Nicholas Wadada, Isaac Muleme, Paul Musamali, Savio Kabugo, Bernard Muwanga, M Militon Karisa, Moses Waiswa, Derrick Nsibambi, Muzamir Mutyaba, Shafiq Kagimu
