Gibbs joins West Brom

West Brom have completed the signing Kieran Gibbs from Arsenal for £7m on a four-year deal.

Gibbs move to the Baggies ends his  13-year-association with The Gunners after West Brom hijacked Watford’s attempts to land the full-back. The Hornets pulled out of an attempt to sign Gibbs when the Midlands club came in and matched their offer. Gibbs, who was in the final year of his contract at The Emirates, was valued at nearer £10m by Arsenal. The Londoner, who made his full England debut against Hungary in 2010, lost his place last season and hasn’t featured this campaign.

The England international made over 200 appearances for the Gunners, picking up ten England caps
