AllStars leave it late to deny Talanta in Afraha

Peter Thiongo' scored with virtually the last kick of the game as Nakuru AllStars left it late to hold resurgent FC Talanta  1-1 draw in a midweek NSLplayed this Wednesday 6 September in Nakuru's Afraha Stadium. 

AllStars who entered the tie on back of a 3-2 win over Police fell behind from a  Thomas Wanaina's clearance howler late in the first half.

Double change 

The goal prompted coach Ezekeiel Akwana to a double offensive change in the final half but the alterations did less  in troubling the visitors as the tie seemed to end in Talanta's favour 

It took another late intervention from Thiong'o to who nodded home the host's equaliser inside the four added minutes of injury time. The striker claiming yet another vital goal after his brace show in Police tie.

Two wins

The win saw AllStars claim four points from their last two games in process end Talanta's run of two wins in a row.
