Mathare United head coach Francis Kimanzi has praised his weekend substitutes Elijah Mwanzia and Derrick Onyango for the impact they had during the match against Western Stima at Ruaraka.

Mwanzia scored the winning goal in the 89th minute to earn the 2008 champions three important as they steered away from the relegation zone. Kimanzi said that the players have been prepared for the job and hailed their partnership with other players.

-These are not just substitutes who follow the group. They have been prepared and they know their job. They combine very well and this is because we work on these partnerships in training, Kimanzi told the club portal.

-We succeeded in Mombasa (against Bandari) with some good calculations with our substitutes. We also made some good calculations and that shows that every day we are growing, the former Harambee Stars tactician added.
