NSL Review: Unrelenting Stima close in on faltering Vihiga

An interesting end to the 2017 National Super League honours seems on the cards after second placed Nairobi Stima tightening its grip on log leaders Vihiga United with another victory.

Edward Shikanda side's 3-0 midweek win over Isibania FC saw Stima reduce Vihiga's lead to only two points after 25 games apiece after the latter failed to extend their advantage atop with a barren stalemate at Eldoret against GFE 105.

A troubled Ushuru FC also suffered a similar fate with a draw on the road against Modern Coast In Mombasa.

The draw saw fifth placed Wazito who  got a battling victory against Bidco United  on Wednesday at Camp Toyoyo  to reduce the gap between them to third placed Ushuru to two and fourth placed KCB to one.

Wazito remain fifth on the log with a game in hand.
