Semadu: We have to stop conceding late goals

Nairobi City Stars coach Abdul Semadu has expressed concern over his team's tendency of conceding late goals in matches , the latest being against Kibera Black Stars on Thursday 14 September at Camp Toyoyo Grounds.

A Wilson Njuguna strike 17 minutes from time ensured the two Nairobi based teams shared spoils in a one all draw and Semadu admits the trend is worrying.  He says concentration lapses towards the end has proved costly in recent weeks.

Costly lapses

-The game wasn't bad, my boys did their level best but unfortunately we couldn't win today. Our problem has been conceding late goals and we have to rectify that. It happened against Agro Chemicals, against Nakuru AllStara and it has happened again today. My players have to remain focused for 90 minutes to prevent such from happening again in future. The match is behind us now and we now shift focus to our game against Police FC which we have to win, he told Futaa.com.

City Stars sits 8th in the NSL log with 34 points.
