NSL: Bidco boss disappointed with GFE stalemate

Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia was left dejected after his side was held to a barren draw by GFE 105 in a National Super League match played at the Thika Sub County Stadium on Sunday 18 September.

Akhulia had earlier expressed confidence that his side would prevail against Joshua Obare's side but hard fighting GFE forced a share of the spoils.

Speaking to Futaa.com, Akhulia admitted that his side played badly leading to the disappointing draw.

Poor display

-I have never seen us play that badly in a while, my boys didn't show up against GFE. We had prepared well for the game but my players looked fatigued especially in the opening minutes, we couldn't find our rythm.

-GFE defended well and were dangerous particularly on the break and twice the crossbar saved us. I am disappointed with the draw but a point is better than nothing, we have to look forward to our next game, he said.

Bidco is 15th in the log with 23 points.
