Shield: Okwemba among four ruled out of Leopards clash

Vihiga United will miss the services of  Charles Okwemba, Amos Kigadi, Jacob Atinda and Kevin Mugone when they take on AFC Leopards in a Shield Tournament semi final match on Sunday 24 September at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

The four have been sidelined with various injuries as confirmed by coach Edward Manoah. Okwemba in particular will miss a reunion with his former side who he scored against in the first leg while featuring for Sofapaka.

Four miss out 

-I will be without four key players, Okwemba, Atinda, Kigadi and Mugone are all out with injuries. They are important players in the team and definitely playing without them is a blow. However I believe those who will get a chance will rise to the occasion, Manoah told Futaa.com.

This will be the first time the two sides will be meeting in a competitive fixtures.
