AP coach rallies his troop ahead of GFE clash

Administration Police FC assistant coach Dave Ongiri has called on his charges to show strong character by bouncing back when they take on GFE 105 in a National Super League match on Sunday 1 October at Camp Toyoyo Grounds after midweek thrashing by St. Joseph's FC.

Police suffered a 1-6 humiliating defeat in Nakuru as merciless Saints ran riot at Afraha Stadium. Ahead of his side's match against Eldoret based GFE, Ongiri has urged his charges to put their midweek misery aside and register a good result against GFE.

-We need to show that we are mentally strong by bouncing back on Sunday. Such huge defeat can have mental effects if players are not strong enough and I urge them to show that they have that strong character by getting back to winning ways immediately.

Unpredictable GFE

-We will play the most unpredictable team in the NSL and as such we have to be very cautious. GFE has registered wins against big teams in the league and  we cannot afford to underrate them, we have to be at our best, he said.

The match will kick off at 1400 hrs.
