Zambia based duo of David Owino and Cliffton Miheso  were among the foreign based star left out of club action ahead of week long international break.

The pair who make up Kenya's foreign players list of nine, joined Stars camp on a 'clean slate' after gaining needed rest ahead of international assignment against Iraq and Thailand on Thursday 5 and Sunday 8 October.

Owino's has been absent from two of Zesco last games owing to a squad rotational programme effected by coach Zlat Kromptic amidst the team run-ins in the continental and league commitments. His teammates Jesse were and Anthony Akumu both featured in Zesco 2-0 win over the weekend.

On his part, Miheso was only named in Buildcon's squad on Sunday but failed to come off the bench in a tie his teammate John Makwata clocked over 80 minutes. Left back Abud Omar is also the beneficiaries of a longer break heading to the international games.

Omar's last game for Slavia came on Friday 29 September 1-1 draw against Vereya. Stanley Okumbi charges departed for the games on Monday 2 September with four of its foreign contingent set to link with the team in their stop at Doha, Qatar.
