No free points for City of Lusaka

The football Association of Zambia has confirmed that the rescheduled week 29 fixture between Sensational Zanaco and City of Lusaka will be played at a later date. 

This follows a reply to City of Lusaka letter demanding three points for the match because they were 'not communicated to' on the postponement of the said match.

-You will be notified in due course when the playing of the match will be rearranged.

The Association has also confirmed having informed City of Lusaka about the decision to postpone the match.

-When the decision was made to postpone the above match on 30th September owing to the compound and militating reasons surrounding the national team, due notification was made to yourselves and Zanaco FC via our attached at 22:41on Saturday 30th September 2017 and was copied to the referees manager and other relevant staff at FAZ secretariat.

- Furthermore, your messrs, Benjamin Bush and Kapalamula Njobvu were informed separately on Sunday 1st October 2017 at 08:15hrs and 11:12hrs on their private lines by Mr Curthbet Tuwa.

The Association further wondered why city of Lusaka went to Sunset Stadium on match day despite the communication of the postponement.
