Chelsea set to hand duo bumper new deals

Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer winger Eden Hazard and goalie Thibaut Courtois new lucrative contracts.

Reputable sources claim that the Blues are planning to offer Hazard, who is already the club’s highest earner on a £200,000-a-week salary, an absurd £300,000-a-week deal to keep potential suitors like Paris Saint-Germain and Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid at bay.

If the marksman agrees to the new contract, then the defending Premier League champions will have successfully managed to tie down one of the best playmakers in football today for the next four years - a development that will undoubtedly guarantee the English side’s continued success.

Courtois will on the other hand be offered a deal rumoured to be double the stopper’s current £120,000-a-week salary, successfully warding off Real Madrid’s alleged interest in the doorman.
