Vihiga United coach Edward Manoah has admitted to the race for promotion to Kenyan Premier League is now open after his team's latest defeat to rivals, KCB on Wednesday 11 October.

A spate of one win in four games has come to home to roost as the team surrendered their spot to KCB prompting Manoah's remarks that only a focused approach will see them stand a chance for promotion which now seems elusive.

- We developed play well but got wasted in final third where we could not go beyond being dangerous. It's a fault we need to address.

-We had the advantage but the race is now quite open. We only only keep our cool and maintain focus going ahead, he told futaa.
