With prospect of a first major trophy in four years within AFC Leopards reach, the club was seeemingly not leaving any thing to chance as far as their approach to their GoTV Shield finale against Kariobangi Sharks on Friday 20 October went.

The great lengths undertaken by Ingwe in studying their opposition some weeks prior to the decisive finale has been revealed.

Interestingly, Sharks claimed four of the six league points against Ingwe and assistant coach Dennis Kitambi, has admitted that attending some of Sharks game was part the opposition analysis that had them fore-warned and ultimately fore- armed for the final duel.

Weak points

-Indeed, Personally i watched their game against Tusker and was here to watch their game against Chemelil. We gained much insight in to the team as far as the changes they make, their weak point in set pieces and changes and it's what we exploited on.

The team technical bench member was however to salute the players' performance in sticking to the plan to see Ingwe come up trumps.

Credit to players

-Overal, it's thumb up for the boys. We have had our hard times this season but the boys put that behind and gave everything they had to this final. You could see in the game there was no doubt that we were poised to win, the Tanzanian coach added.
