Former England boss admits he would 'consider' Everton job

Sam Allardyce has claimed that he would "consider" the vacant Everton job if he was offered it.

The former England boss has been touted in some quarters as the kind of battler that the Toffees need to drag them out of the drop zone following the dismissal of Ronald Koeman earlier this month. Big Sam has been out of work since he left Crystal Palace in June after he led the Eagles to Premier League safety.

The 63-year-old has a proud record of never being relegated from the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers, Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, Sunderland and Crystal Palace.
