FKF mourns Palos withdrawal from NSL

Football Kenya Federation has appreciated the role that Palos FC brought to the National Super League and especially in the Nyanza region.

The NSL side, that withdrew from next year's edition cited financial issues as the major reason the club was folding up. Palos who were promoted in 2016 also confirmed that they were unable to honour their clash against Administration Police but will play the last league fixture against Isibania at home ground, Moi Stadium, Kisumu.

- We do appreciate the contribution and the role you and your team has played in the growth and development of football in the Nyanza region and the entire country as a whole since the team’s inception in 2012, FKF CEO Robert Mothomi said.

- We acknowledge receipt of your letter dated October 17, 2017 regarding the withdrawal of your team, Palos FC, from the National Super League, 2018 season owing to financial constraints, Mothomi continued to say in the letter.
