Ulinzi Stars coy over Gor Mahia target's impeding exit

Ulinzi Stars chairman  Lt. Col Erick Oloo says he is not conversant with reports linking striker Sammy Onyango with a switch to Gor Mahia ahead of 2018 Kenyan Premier League season.

The attacker is reportedly in talks with Gor Mahia over a move to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions but his club chairman says he is not aware of any such developments. He adds that the player knows the right channel to follow should he decide to quit the club once the December-January transfer window swings open.

Not notified

-I have not been notified of Sammy's resignation and as it stands I believe he is still our player. If indeed he wants to leave then he knows the right procedure to follow. Once he resigns from the military he will head to wherever he wants to go but for now Sammy remains an Ulinzi Stars player, he said.

Should he quit the club, he will become the second player to walk out of the military outfit after Stephen Waruru who is reportedly heading to Tusker.
