KPL new boys celebrate departing star

Kenya Premier League entrants head coach Frank Ouna has paid glowing tribute to the departing star Dickson Ihaji terming him a ' wonderful servant'.

Ihaji who has been part of the team since its inception in 2011 has decided to end his football sojourn and Wazito has taken time to wish him the best in his future endeavours. He was part of the team that fought tirelessly to the last man to ensure that Wazito secures their first ever promotion to the Kenya Premier League.

- What a servant Mangala has been for Wazito. A rare breed and it’s been a privilege to coach him and travel with. A brave defender, Mangala would put his body on the line for Wazito. On two occasions, he literally put his teeth on the line. He earned a teeth brace for that as a souvenir, Ouna told the club website.

Wazito secured their promotion in Narok on the last day of National Super League action in Narok where they downed Police FC 5 - 2.
