AFC Leopards sign City Stars forward

2017 Gotv Shield Winners, AFC Leopards have completed their sixth offseason signing roping in Nairobi City Stars forward, Ezekiel Odera on a two-year deal.

The former KCB, Gor Mahia, Thika United and Ushuru FC forward tried out with Ingwe and even scored in a friendly match against Ushuru FC last week. Coch Matano whom he worked it at City Stars has now decided to reunite with his former attacker whom he worked with at Nairobi City Stars.

Odera was in fine form for City Stars this season scoring eleven goals for the John Amboko coached side as they finished 7th in the National Super League. The Kawangware based side will now have to do without their talisman in 2018 after Leopards confirmed his signing on a two-year contract.

Odera joins 

-We have signed Odera for two years. He is a player the coach has worked with before and recommended that we sign him. We have given the coach a free hand to sign the players he needs to build a strong squad for 2018 season. We are still in talks with other targets and we hope to finalize all our transfers in the next few days, Leopards chairman Dan Mule told Futaa.com.

Other new players at the den are Ezekiel Owade, Ezekiel Otuoma, Brian Marita, Baker Alukoya and Ramadhan Kibiringo.
