De Bruyne: How City will approach United clash

05 Dec, 13:00

Kevin De Bruyne insists Manchester City will never change their approach under Pep Guardiola, even against nearest title rivals Manchester United

The Belgium international is enjoying life at the top of the Premier League table, where City sit eight points clear of Jose Mourinho’s side.

City has played expansive passing football throughout the season and Mourinho is expected to adopt a deeper counter-attacking approach when the two giants of English football collide. But De Bruyne isn’t worried by how United set themselves up and expects City to play their normal game.

City can increase their gap to 11 points over their local rivals with a win on Sunday, but De Bruyne insists City must not get ahead of themselves even with a win.
