Ex-Leopards defender among new faces at Homeboyz

Former AFC Leopards defender Ramadhan Yakubu is among the new faces at Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Kakamega Homeboyz

Yakubu who was released by Ingwe a week ago featured for Homeboyz against his former side in a friendly match played at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County in Tuesday 12 December. Other new players who featured for Homeboyz include immediate former Muhoroni Youth captain Kennedy Rono, former Bandari attacker, Michael Apudo and Chapa Dimba star, David Majak. 

Best finish 

Homeboyz finished 5th in the Kenyan Premier League in 2017, this was their best ever finish in the top flight and the club will be looking to better its fortunes in 2018. They recently signed a sponsorship deal with Kakamega County Government, a deal that chairman Cleophas Shimanyula opines will propel the club to the next level.
