AFC Leopards coach Robert Matano seems serious to implement changes at the den especially after promising to bring in new faces when Kakamega Homeboyz held them to a 0 - 0 Jamhuri draw.
Matano admitted to pressure affecting the new players on show then but promised to sign new faces that will help Ingwe in the CAF Confederations Cup campaign.
- We understand cohesion and bonding affected us. Most new are players we have just brought in the other day. It was a game that came with pressure especially for the new faces. I have no first team yet but as we approach the signing business we will have the team we want probably, Matano said.
Leopards drew FOSA Juniors of Madagascar in the preliminary Confederations Cup draw and will kick start the campaign at home in the 9-10 weekend of February 2018. The second leg will take place in a fortnight, Antananarivo, Madagascar.
Ingwe already has signed two foreign talents after impressing Matano in the trials.
Ghanaian Prince Ako and Nigerian midfielder Henry Uche will join the ranks in the den after signing a one year contract each. Prince is a former Ismailia FC player and joins from Ghanaian side, Sekondi Hasaacaa while Uche previously turned out for FK Kukesi in Albania.
