Nzoia Sugar ace in trouble over Gor, Tusker double signing

A tussle is looming between Kenyan Premier League top guns Tusker FC and Gor Mahia over immediate former Nzoia Sugar midfielder Lawrence Juma who has reportedly double signed for both clubs

Lawi left Nzoia Sugar at the end of the season after the expiry of his contract. He was a target for both clubs and it has now emerged that he signed deals with both clubs and risks serving a one-year ban should the two sides fail to resolve the stalemate.

Tusker coach Francis Baraza insists Lawi as he is famously know is a Brewer and expects the midfielder to feature for his side in 2018.

Lawi signed

-We signed Juma weeks ago as a free agent. His contract at Nzoia was expiring and we moved with speed to him. As far as we are concerned he will play for Tusker from 2018 season. Reports that he has signed for another club are untrue because we agreed on everything and he willingly signed a contract with us, Baraza said.

Early this year, AFC Leopards youngster Vincent Oburu missed the first leg after double signing for Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards.
