Posta Rangers chairman elated with Stars' Cecafa triumph

Posta Rangers chairman John Tonui has congratulated the National team, Harambee Stars for seeing off Zanzibar in Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup final on Sunday 17 December in Machakos

Posta keeper Patrick Matasi was the star of the match as he saved three post-match penalties to ensure stars reclaimed the title they last won in 2013 when the tournament was staged in Kenya.

-I am very delighted and I want to congratulate our national team for flying our flag high. The players and the technical bench did the country proudly and as Posta fraternity, we are happy because our players Matasi (Patrick) and Atudo (Joackins) played key roles in delivering the trophy.

-As Posta Rangers we will continue to support national courses to ensure there is more success in future, he said.

Stars will now shift focus to 2019 African Nations Cup qualifiers.
