Gor Mahia sign Kakamega Homeboyz defender

Gor Mahia has completed the signing of Kakamega Homeboyz defender Charles Momanyi, club CEO Lordvick Aduda has confirmed

The central defender has been one of Homeboyz' top performers for the last two seasons and was part of Harambee Stars squad that won the just concluded Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup.

His good performance for the Mike Mururi coached side has now earned him a move to the Kenyan Premier League champions.

Momanyi signs

-We've received Momanyi's release letter from Kakamega Homeboyz and I can confirm that he's now our player. Momanyi is a good young central defender and his addition to the team will definitely bring competition to our backline which is a good thing for any top club, he said.

He becomes Gor Mahia's fourth off season signing following the arrival of Lawrence Juma, Kevin Omondi and Ephrem Guikan.
