Kariobangi Sharks signs youngster on long term contract

Kariobangi Sharks has revealed that it has signed Fidel Oduor Origa on a four-year contract after impressing in the preseason. The youngster played for African Heroes.

This is the second signing for the William Muluya side after signing  18-year old Sydney Lokale who scored 6 goals for All-Stars in the National Super League in 2017. Sharks has described Origa as a young and talented football.

- Fidel is a young and very talented player; the type of player we believe will be part of the future of Kenyan football. Kenyan football is taking a curve towards being smarter and very technical and with players like Fidel we believe we'll be part of football development and raising the competition bar, the club said in a statement.

Pre-season

- He has been outstanding this pre-season and we expect next year he will make a difference to the team and he will compete with other already talented sharks players in 2018, the club statement continued.

Origa says that his dream is to get into first team action soon and launch his dream of playing abroad.

- My dream is to work hard to get enough play time and at the end get a chance to play abroad in future. I am very happy, Origa said after penning the deal with sharks.
