Thika United head coach Nicholas Muyoti has called on his charges to remain focused ahead of Sunday 24 December second leg KPL play-off against Ushuru FC that will be staged at Narok County Stadium.
Thika goes into the match with an advantage having beaten Ushuru 2-1 in the first leg and Muyoti has urged his players to complete the job in Narok.
-It was important that we win at home and I want to thank the players for the job well done. We have one more hurdle and we have to be fully committed and focused, we cannot avoid any slip-up. I believe if we give our best we will get a good result in Narok, he said.
Midfielder Michael Mutinda will miss the match after being stretched off on Thursday and Muyoti as revealed that the Kakamega High School prodigy will be out for six weeks.
-Mutinda will not be available for the match. He's been a very important player for us but unfortunately he got injured and will be out for around six weeks, we wish him a quick recovery, he added.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 1500. Thika needs to avoid defeat to qualify.
