Muyoti remains cagey on signings

Thika united head coach Nicholas Muyoti is hopeful that the club has taken positive steps towards preparing for the next season after surviving the chop to remain in the Kenya Premier League.

Thika will ply trade in the Kenya Premier League after seeing off Ushuru in a two legged play offs. Muyoti and his charges beat Ken Kenyatta and his Ushuru 2-1 in the first leg at Thika. The repeat match staged at Narok ended in a 0-0 draw which means Muyoti will once more date the KPL trophy.

- It has been a very tough journey but I think God has been helpful to us all through. I thank my players for appearing on short notice and taking preparations seriously and it is that effort that has earned us the win, Muyoti said.

- On what our next target in the KPL is, let us just celebrate first. We hope to have a successful run and be ready to face Kakamega Homeboyz in our first match. I cannot talk of who we will sign now but surely we will bolster our side in the transfer window, Muyoti added.
