Arsenal has reportedly rekindled their interest in Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez.
Reputable Algerian news outlet Le Buteur has claimed that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is prepared to tempt the Foxes with a mega-money offer in the upcoming transfer window in order to convince the 2016 Premier League champions to let the playmaker leave.
Mahrez has long been linked with a switch to the Emirates but saw the dream move dashed after Leicester slapped a hefty £45m price tag on the midfield maestro, which is rumoured to have put off Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, leaving Serie A juggernauts AS Roma as the only interested party.
The 26-year-old, however, continues to attract the attention of potential suitors with his stellar displays, which have seen the linchpin score six goals and assist another five in 19 Premier League starts this season, making the Algerian a good addition to any top-tier side.
