Nzoia Sugar have completed the signing of Kakamega Homeboyz winger David Okoth on the Bosman following the expiry of his contract with the Kakamega based side.
The speedy winger joins Bernard Mwalala's side that's rebulding in readiness for 2018 campaign where the team will be looking to perform better than it did in 2017; Nzoia finished 9th in the log in 2017.
Okoth's signing has been confirmed by coach Bernard Mwalala who heaped praise on the attacker saying he will add the much needed pace in his forward line.
-Okoth is a player we have been trailing for a while and we are happy that he has agreed to join us. His style of play suits our team and I am happy that he is now part of us.
-He's quick, a good crosser and he also scores goals, we needed a player like him in our team. We are still in talks with our other targets and we hope to conclude more deals soon, Mwalala told Futaa.com.
Okoth becomes Nzoia's fourth off season signing following the arrival of Tom Teka, Dennis Wafula and Patrick Otieno.
