Disappointed? Jesse speaks out on elusive Golden Boot

Harambee Stars striker Jesse has revealed to having very little disappointment after failing to clinch the Zambian top goalscorer in his second attempt.

A hot-streak of 16 goals in the concluded season proved not enough in yet another season as Jesse finished second best to Congolese Crispin Mugalu haul of 21.

Jesse who lost the gong to Walter Bwalya, the season before, asserts that 2017 league triumph took some pain of his second attempt of coming close.

Doesn't hurt

-First of all, I congratulate him because he beat me. My only target was to make sure my goals help the team win the league. It does not hurt me very much because we had only one objective in mind and that was winning the league, he told the club portal.
