KPL clubs mourn Bandari TM

Kenya Premier League sides have joined Bandari to mourn their departed team manager Alfred Obwaka who passed away on December 4th, 2018.

Ulinzi Stars have described Obwoka's demise as untimely and a great loss to the football family in Kenya. The TM is reported to have taken part in Bandari's afternoon training session and was in good health.

- Tusker FC joins the rest of the football fraternity to mourn the death of Bandari Football Club team manager Alfred Obwaka. We convey our sincere condolences and stand with his family, friends and Bandari FC fraternity during this difficult time. May His soul rest in peace, the former KPL champions mourned. 

- Ulinzi Stars FC is saddened by the untimely and sudden death of Bandari FC team manager Alfred Achayo Obwaka. Achayo was a committed member of the Bandari side for close to a decade and a half and this is a huge loss not only to the club but Kenyan football as a whole. We convey our deepest condolences and stand with Bandari FC at this difficult time. May God rest his soul in eternal peace, Ulinzi posted on their social page. 

Obwaka was pronounced dead after arriving at Mewa Hospital. He had been taken to Alfaruk Hospital initially but unfortunately, the facility had no oxygen services.
