KPL side drops twelve, to unveil new ones

New Kenya Premier League side Vihiga United has dropped a record twelve players from its rank and looks to unveil new ones in due course

The twelve who have been already served with their release letters include Ugandan forward Rashid  Kyambande who recently appeared for Cranes in CECAFA Senior Challenge and Keiphas Mutuu who has been with the club on loan from Kakamega Homeboyz. 

Released Players

1. Munai Gilbert and Franklin Kirimi goalkeepers, 2. Abucheri Gideon- defender, 3. Alufwani Acquinous Muteshi- winger, 4. Ouma John winger 5. Muyesu Johnson Kidambu defender

6. Mutuu Keiphas striker, 7. Kyambadde Rashid, 8. Imbalabala Martin defender 

 10. Omwami Oscar- defender,  11. Weitere Lucas -striker, 12. Asena Nelson defender. 

Vihiga joined the first tier after a gruelling campaign that saw them eventually finish on top of the NSL  table. 

The club has also advertised their vacant coaching position after Edward Manoah left the club last year.
