Stars keeper set for trial in Europe

Harambee Stars and Posta Ranger keeper Patrick Matasi is set to leave the country for trials in Turkey.

The reigning KPL Goalkeeper of the Year has revealed that he is due to attend trials with a yet to be identified club in the Eastern Europe nation.

The trials coincides with yet another offer with the keeper reportedly being tracked by a Zambian club in wake of his heroics with Kenyan national outfit

- The trials have been fixed after a hitch in processing necessary documents led to it being postponed. We're now awaiting official communication on the same which should be out on course of the week, he told futaa

The burly keeper was central to Kenya's crowning as the new CECAFA Champions last month after his penalty-saving heroics secured a seventh title for the nation.
