Mathare United snap ex Tusker forward

Immediate former Tusker FC striker, Clifford Alwanga has joined Mathare United penning a two-year deal, the Slum Boys have confirmed.

The attacker was one of the 14 players offloaded by the Brewers at the close of 2017 season and now joins a rebuilding Francis Kimanzi coached side.

-I am happy to be here because this is a chance to revive my career. I have worked with Coach (Francis) Kimanzi before and I know what is expected of me.

Goals

-My target is to get more playing time and score at least 15 goals. Hopefully, I will be a top contender for the top scorer award, the attacker told the club's official website shortly after signing.

Alwanga has previously played for KCB in the Kenyan Premier League.
