Kenya defender David Cheche Ochieng believes that he has a lot to offer to his new Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna after completing his switch two days ago.

Cheche left his USA New York Cosmos club for Borma and has now assured that the club will benefit from the experience he carries from South America. The defender also exuded delight to have joined the Sweden top side.

- I’m grateful to be here, it’s a good club with good organization and a good coach, Ochieng told the club’s official website.

Experience

Ochieng made the senior debut while at Nairobi Stima in 2011 before featuring for 11-time Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker FC, then headed to Taawon in the Saudi Arabian league.

- I bring a lot of experience from playing in South America and the United States. I have played many international matches, both with club teams and national teams. I’m used to playing big matches with a lot of audiences, so I can contribute with the experience of it and spread a calm in the group, the Kenyan international added.

Cheche's stint in America lasted for two years having joined Cosmos from Saudi's Al Tawoon. He was part of the team's 2016 NASL championship.
